Happy Tuesday Reader!
If you've been reading this newsletter for any length of time, you have likely read a quote from my daddy. I've been promising to publish a book of his sayings and I haven't done it. He just turned 80 a couple of weeks ago, so if I'm going to get it done in his lifetime, I might wanna get after it.
The TJ (not to be confused with TJae) saying that is floating to the top this week is, "If you said it, you said it." Anytime I came home and repeated something that someone else said - especially if it was gossipy or something I shouldn't think, let alone say - he reminded me that I get control over my own mouth and if I've repeated it, then I have to own that I've said it.
Welp! This week Megyn Kelly (hunches shoulders that this sentence begins this way) repeated an opinion that "someone close to the Epstein case" believed he wasn't a pedophile because he was into "barely legal types". She doubled down by saying there is a difference between being attracted to 5 year and a 15 year old.
A few days ago, actress Valerie Bertinelli posted a photo of her 15 year old self with the caption "This picture was taken in 1975. I'm 15. I'm a child." Then my friend Laura shared her 15 year old self on Facebook and I followed suit. If you have a photo of yourself at 15, I encourage you to do the same. Fifteen year olds are children. Full stop. And anyone who believes otherwise needs help.
Seriously . . . a child!

On the Horizon
It's weird to segue from something so horrible to joyful opportunities, but I wanna be sure you get all the deets while they are fresh!
Wicked-Ish Wednesdays are back beginning December 3rd. No, I haven't seen Wicked: For Good yet, but I will likely have seen it twice by the time we meet.

Please mark your calendar for January 8, 2026 and plan to join us for HUMAN. Stories.
HUMAN. Stories. is a new Quiet Rebel storytelling event where people tell the truth with care and let their lived moments do the teaching. It’s not about performance — it’s about creating space to hear ourselves and each other more honestly.

Here’s to remembering that our words shape our worlds. May we keep choosing the kind of language — and leadership — that expands safety, dignity, and possibility for all of us. LOVE first. Always. —TJae |

In case you're new to Tuesdays w/ TJae, you should know that you won't receive emails from me every Tuesday, or on any particular Tuesday - but always (well, normally) on a Tuesday. As a child, whenever we'd visit my Grandpa James, he'd end the visit by saying "See you Tuesday," no matter when we were scheduled to see him again. So this newsletter is part nod to James Rivers, and part nod to my love of alliteration.
See you Tuesday! TJae
